The Uppsala Pharmacometrics Group is happy to announce a NONMEM Workshop on Diagnostics, Model Building and New Estimation Methods tailed for intermediate and advanced NONMEM users, to be held in September 27-29, 2010. The course is part of a series of NONMEM Workshops scheduled for two years in Seoul, and will present modeling strategies, techniques and implementations (using NONMEM 7) for the handling of PK and PD information in population models. The next Workshop (to be held) in 2011 will cover Pharmacokinetic-Pharmacodynamic (PK-PD) Modeling of Continuous, Categorical and Time-to Event data.

New for this offering of the course:
The course will include explanations and comparisons of the different estimation methods available in NONMEM 7. Model diagnostics using these new estimation methods will also be covered.

The course will consist of both lectures and hands-on computer exercises using NONMEM 7, PsN and Xpose 4. Self-instructive material is provided for further studies and exploration of examples within the field. The participants will be provided with a NONMEM library of example code for a wide range of methods and diagnostics.
